Free Standing LED – PDT Photodynamic therapy produces a cold light that can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions.
This is an incredibly safe and effective machine that would be a great addition to any clinic.
Blue Narrowband at 420nm
- Under Blue light Protoporphyrin (PP9) generates singlet oxygen
- Singlet oxygen attacks and kills Proprionibacterium acne bacteria
- Inhibits growth of acne
- To be used on moderate inflammatory acne
Red Light at 640nm
- LED Red light quintuples the growth of fibroblasts
- Increase collagen production
- Slows down cells degeneration
Then we have a combination of both Blue and Red which is for treatment of Rosacea, pitting of skin due to acne, or scarring from sores or inflammation, plus all of the above. Very calming for inflamed skin.
LED can incorporate a lot more colours such as green and yellow, but the Red / Blue and combination of both colours – is certainly the preference and helps a lot of skin problems.
If you are doing treatments like Dermal Fillers, Botox, Laser or Fractional Resurfacing Devices, Chemical Peels, IPL’s or Laser, Surgical Procedures such as Blepharoplasty or even breast surgery, the red light is the perfect wavelength.
